Hi all,
I'm downloading my first 3rd party addons for ARMA from here. However, I need to know how to set up a MOD folder. Is the set up the same as with OFP? eg. create a seperate addons folder and direct the application to it via a shortcut? If it is, are the parameters the same? ( "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nomap -nosplash -mod=@Defend_Sahrani ) Under that would be an Addons folder. Thanks! -------------------- |

Hmmm, I must be doing something wrong. I'm getting the following message in both single and multiplay:
'You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependant on downladable content that has been deleted' What's this? I've downloaded all the addons required for the mission as far as I can see on the mission page. I've created a shortcut link that reads: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nomap -nosplash -mod=@Defend_Sahrani addons are in the following folder: C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\@Defend_Sahrani\Addons and these are the addons: rlk_desertsol.pbo rlk_urban_sol.pbo vilas_cwc.pbo vilas_des.pbo vilas_mod.pbo vilas_pol.pbo vilas_rus.pbo vilas_sah.pbo vilww2.pbo vilas_config_easy.pbo vilas_config_hard.pbo Not sure both those configs should be available but I have tried with both and one but still no joy. -------------------- |

Only just getting back to this issue. Still no joy in getting 3rd party addons to work in ARMA without simply putting them in the main 'Addons' folder.
Has anyone advice to offer on how to set this up without having to do this? -------------------- |

Are you using a soundmod? There is one that prevents the use of third party addons...

Sure, this is basically it:
Target: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nosplash -mod=Addons2 Start In: "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA" Shortcut Key: None Run: Normal Window Comment: Launch ArmA -------------------- |
