If u'd like to start getting techi about it, then. Geforce 6600gt card require additional power as do most Geforce 7 / 8 / + 9 series. Some require normal molex connections and other require PCIE connections.

To put it that the card is beyond a pc is politically incorrect terminology !! it may be beyond the PSU which is not a PC.

That was the point i was trying to make and as there was no mention of the PC not posting after he installed the card, so obviously its has the power to boot, i put the problem down to incorrect installation. Nothing else cool.gif

Thats all.

Would be nice of JOETHETANK to post again on his current status !!

JOE help is @ hand through these tough times wink.gif

I don't think u have explained your problem very well.

I would guess that u have been using onboard GFX and bought a new GFX Card expecting to just install it and play.

Unfortunatley it doesn't work like that. u should have.

A: uninstalled onboard drivers, then i possible disable it in the Bios. if no option then do so as stated above, disable in Device Manager.
B: Mount new GFX Card, and select the primary GFX Card in Bios as Primary.
C: In Windows, install new Drivers for new Card.

that should get it working....not all of the above may be the case for u but instructions are always handy things...

Good luck, the Card will not be Beyond your PC, just need to install it the correct way i think !

Hey, i have a similar problem.

I downloaded ArmA from SPROCKET via Softwrap, i think. now all was well until i had a problem on my pc, which to cut a long story short i just wiped the lot and started again.

Now i tried to reinstall ArmA, which went fine !!! then comes the Activation part, which i had my license holder name and my Activation code. guess what, same msg as u. Activation has already been used.

So I email Softwrap with license ID and Credit card details, helpsos.gif still heard nothing since yesterday morning.

I pay for a game that i can activate once. what a load of balls....

I would NOT recomend them to Anyone...Ever

Will let u now how long they take to get back to me..........
