Syphilis ain't free, them hoes cost money. Wrong. The sex costs money, the syphilis isn't a part of the deal, it just comes with a bad taste in hookers and being a cheap bastard. Also if you drag one into the bushes ... -------------------- |

See, there's a lot of people of a certain type in Germany. I don't know whether there's a proper term in Dutch — or in English, for that matter… we call them Gutmenschen, i.e. "good people" or "the better people". Bleeding heart liberals who'd still cry "refugees welcome!" had even three Paris's taken place in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.
Maybe they think this wretched situation is a possibility to make up for Germany's sins. Perhaps they're just dipshits. At any rate Merkel is not easy to bring down. I'm disenchanted. Severely. The way I see it, Merkel's failed policies have directly contributed to the Paris attacks, opening a way for terrorists to infiltrate Europe. She's a technocrat. Every now and again (->Fukushima) it appears she thinks she has to prove that she's capable of emotions, though. A clusterfuck of epic proportions being the inevitable result. If she falls (which I think she'd deserve), we're in for trouble. Without Merkel, her coalition partner would have no reason to support the conservatives (conservatives my ass!) any longer and they and the left-leaning opposition could elect one of their own. An unholy triad of social democrats, eco freaks and communists would take over. Technically, they can do that, no general elections needed. Damn this woman. She's made sure no conservative will rule this country for a long time to come: The lefties have gotten stronger due to her, and there is no real conservative opposition capable of replacing her. -------------------- |

Two people are really happy that the match vs Germany was called off, our coach and the director of the football association ... no need for more tears.
France has made a request for assistance to EU members and Germany seems to be looking at every legal possibility to wiggle out of it. Oh wait I know there's an EU mission still going on in Bosnia-Herzegovina and off the coast of Somalia that they could "reinforce to relieve France". Anything to keep away from areas that actually matter. I mean no pirates have been spotted for months so surely there is almost zero risk of the armed forces having to do what other countries retain armed forces for http://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/frankreich-eu-101.html This post has been edited by JdB: Nov 18 2015, 03:10 -------------------- |

Thanks, John. The worst part with such pain is, you actually don't want it to go away.
