Armed Assault Info Forums _ Troubleshooting _ No sound for Arma1, Steam DL, Latest Realtek HD driver

Hey dudes, seen the other thread about no audio and it worked with the reinstallation of audio drivers. Tried this, along with updating driver, still no sound...is this a Steam issue or does it have something to do with the soundcard/driver?

What are your sound settings?

Try disabling EAX and/or Hardware acceleration in the sound options if they're turned on.

I am having the same problem as you and have the same sound card when I open the arma operations it tell me bad file openal32.dll I have try everything to fix this and so far it will load and play but not sound win 7 64 bit realtek sound I7 950 I unload and reload the game all other arma run fine except for arm assualt can anyone help with this
