Hi,
This isn't an addon request, so just gonna put it here for now, if it gets moved, sorry I didn't put it in the right place!! I remember seeing the Aliens dropship vid on Youtube, not so long ago (less than a year!) but it was created for OFP. It worked really well, there were no textures but still the prospect for a kick-ass addon was there, especially as we had the APC and Marines. I was wondering if anyone knew what ever happened to it? Was it just abandoned or is it still a WIP? Cheers Edit: later in the day I found this on youtube! Its still there!! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=o0SsFFdTMkI This post has been edited by Electroself: Nov 13 2008, 18:01 -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. I did a search and found that it was never released (not publicly that I know of anyway).

Arghhhh, I'm even more gutted now!! lol
Really appreciate you guys giving me some info. Just a shame we can't see this great addon on Arma, as a colonial marines mission.... Thanks again! If anyone else is reading this, do you think we should actively get a petition going to find the creator? -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. But I've sinned too much"

You can chalk up my name for that petition. I remember this addon too...was really up there with the greats for what it did. If i remember right it was the one of the first to develop cargo scripts of in-game objects. Shame it didnt make it to release, I looked forward to it for a quite a while!
What did make it to ArmA though was the Alien APC and troops (HERE) though by the sounds of things you have them already ^^ Makes you wonder what else never saw the light of day out there. The Falklands mod that missed ofp was tragic and I know i have a few islands that never saw the public domain. Those were great times... Cheers Carver -------------------- |

the falklands would be awesome.
I'm actually in the middle of a Cuba Island based on satellite imagery. No way near to releasing it yet though!! But would be very applicable for Arma because BLUFOR (US) and OPFOR (those commies!) -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. But I've sinned too much"
