Is there a script for that.
This script turn on the light and set de angle of the searchlight movement. Works really well.
The searchlight stop the movement cycle when you are spotted and aim direct to you.

I´m trying to remember where is the script.
If I don´t find it, I´m going to send you a link to download it.

In the searchlight "on init" line have this code:
CODE
This engineOn true

(Might not actually be essential, but best have it anyways)

Then use this in a trigger to turn the light on:
CODE
Player action ["lightOn", vehicle]

(obviously, replace "vehicle" with the name of the searchlight object. If your wondering, Player is used because the player is always a vehicle in the soldier class. It won't effect the player at all.)

Should work. It works with other empty vehicles and I can only assume searchlights work the same way as headlights.

If ypu are looking for Searchlight managed by AI, look this thread:
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?...rchlight+script

Anyway, I´m going to send you my version of the script.

Edit: Serpentinos, this is the correct thread. Just follow the instructions and copy the script code to an sqs.
