A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them. Plot holes, plot holes, plot holes. And only 88 minutes long (or maybe that's a good thing ) 5.5/10 |

I watched Downfall, its about the last days that Hitler spent in the bunker in Berlin as seen from the eyes of his Secretary.
Its bloody good! The actor for Hitler seems pretty good in that he has no idea whats going on, and it all seems very authentic. For me this gets 9/10 -------------------- Steel Boat, Iron Hearts Do You Cry Out In Your Sleep? All My Failings Exposed Get a Taste In My Mouth, As Desperation Takes Hold. got it on DVD here, personally i think the film shows less about hitler and more about the events around the days and eva braun, but its still a fantastic piece of work: 9.5/10 just to be picky

Well it taught me how to say Schweres in German which I have always wanted to know so that did it for me! I liked all the different stories and your right, Hitler's part isnt huge, more about the people around him!

A marksman living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why. Maybe a little far-fetched at some points (training a rookie FBI agent into a bad-ass sniper in half a day?) but nevertheless a very entertaining movie. 8.5/10 |

training a rookie FBI agent into a bad-ass sniper in half a day? Ummm... he's former USMC FR/SS... every Marine qualifies at 500 yards, and Corps' Scout Snipers are some of the best in the world. I, Robot Reminds me of I Am Legend. Will Smith is a bad-ass detective who is somewhat paranoid towards the then so common robots. He has bits of old equipment ("Gas explodes, you know!") around his house, which eventually come in somewhat handy when he's forced to fight thousands of robots. Nice movie, with good actors (not a bad female lead ) and a nice plot, but maybe a bit too much drama here and there. 8/10 -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!
Words were coming out of my fingertips faster than my thoughts could process them in my brains... My plead is for temporary insanity that was caused by permanent insanity of very, very twisted nerve cluster that's called brain matter, that's supposed to be grey but isn't, it's black and has a somewhat sarcastic and dark sense of humor, or lacks it totally. Ummm... he's former USMC FR/SS... every Marine qualifies at 500 yards, and Corps' Scout Snipers are some of the best in the world. Mark Wahlberg plays the former Marine, not the FBI agent played by Michael Peña He's a pure rookie even at basic FBI stuff, not to mention usage of highly specialized firearms. Of course if the movie had shown the full days' training, everyone would have been sleeping in their seats -------------------- |

Saw Aeon Flux yesterday. ...and the Black Dahlia tonight. Both good films AE gets 7/10 and BD gets 9/10 From IMDB QUOTE The Black Dahlia is set in 1940s Los Angeles. Two cops, Bucky Bleichert and his partner, Lee Blanchard, investigate the death of Elizabeth Short, a young woman found brutally murdered. Bucky soon realizes that his girlfriend had ties to the deceased, and soon after that, he begins uncovering corruption and conspiracy within the police department. Written b QUOTE 400 years in the future, set in the year 2415, Aeon Flux is a mysterious assassin. Four centuries after a virus nearly decimated the human race, leaving only five million survivors in a utopian city called Bregna. Aeon is struggling to destroy the Goodchild regime led by its namesake, Trevor Goodchild, the ruler of Bregna and a descendant of the man who found a cure for the deadly virus. As instructed by the Handler, Aeon is assigned to assassinate Goodchild, but there are deeper secrets to be discovered, and conspiracies to be foiled.
