I'm nearing that state right now. My place is under the roof and has windows only to an adjacent yard leaving me without any circulation whatsoever. It's 02:50 in the night and the temperatur still is at 30°C. Blimey! Two days ago they said a fulminant storm would end the heat wave today. Yesterday "will" degenerated into "could" and currently it's a "maybe question mark".

So that I'm not only talking about the weather here comes a related note: I got myself Dark Souls 2. Dunno what to make of it. Fascinating on one side, on the other hand it's a blasted console port with stupid controls and many dev oversights.

Yes. Anything under 10 is "cold" and unlike the UK, 22 is not beach weather. I recall a friend who went to London telling us that on the tube oneday they were playing public service messages asking people to stay hydrated and ensure they did not over exert themselves in the heat wave.

Hello 2 weeks annual leave! Time to move house! Do any of you guys play Civilisation 5?

I consider anything over 30 to be hot. But I am a wuss. Most consider 35+ to be "hot." A heatwave is usually considered to be 5 days over 35 or 3 days over 40.

You get used to it. As long as you don't do anything strenuous and drink lots of water it's fine. Swim, stay indoors, shop, go see a movie - lots of ways to keep cool.

Or just move to somewhere that doesn't want to kill you six days from Sunday...

I consider doing a term abroad in Iceland.

And stay there. Every now and again I don't like Germany anymore. Most Germans are incomprehensibly stupid. As a bonus it's cool up there!
