If and or when D@V£'s experiments (Or JynX's for that matter) come to fruition and zombies start appearing what will you do?
Below are a few points of interest, list what you'd choose;
These can be as realistic or as insane as you like =]
Off you go then, show us the lists. Remeber the forum image limits and other rules please, keep it civil and nobody will have to get bashed with the ban stick.
1- As a main weapon a FARA 83 with a scope and a Glock 17 as a sidearm.
2- Any club I can find, harder the better.
3- Normaly a simple car, but if I can really choose, well, a RV.
4- This one is the harder, I think that http://argentina.modelsoftheworld.com/book/HC97/Victoria_Moreno could do the job more than fine (being realistics, and because the first women that came up to my head are models and the probabilities of Dave creating a Zombie holocaust are higher than me with a model). She is my friend so I know her face to face, and without those cosmetics she's even prittier.
5- I would still listening to music, it's almost a need. But a theme in the middle of the "combat"? Na, I'll pass in this one, but if I really have to choose a song, well, the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W6dShYD9LU&feature=related could work.
6- My RV or a cabin in the desert, but next to a city/any place where I could get food, toilet paper and any other thing I could need. When I ran out of them I will try to find as many books of agriculture and I will set up a farm someplace.
Myself.

3. levitashion
4. Tanya from CC
5. Seinfled theme song
6. My mom's basement
1. Vice-like grip
2. Flailing forearms
3. Decaying legs
4. Zombie Acquaintances
5. "1_Gonk" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPJvIAWAyYM)
6. Some street or mall or something...
Well, you know what they say; Get with the winning team!
Well... I guess if we're working in reality then probably this:
1. Shovel, until I find something better. (Probably a FAL or SA80)
2. Machete
3. Foot. Until things quiet down a bit, at which point probably something like a landie.
4. Neither the time nor the place! Though I shouldn't expect any better from the likes of you...
5. What is this? Mark's post apocalyptic music club? Hmpf. Well, if you really want to know "At DooM's Gate - Robert C. Prince III" (no... not that Prince... he did the music for DooM)
6. Nowhere. We go into that cellar and we cut off our retreat! (Ouch! )
Though seeing how no one else is...
1. AKS74U w/ Kobra optics.
2. Tankhammer (you either know what it is, or you don't...)
3. THQ's "Rh-1N0". I don't care if it's just an FV432. It's looks f*cking awesome
(http://www.flickr.com/photos/thqgames/3271856242/)
4. None of your f*cking business. Besides, I'd be surprised if anyone here actually knew her...
5. As Previous List.
6. Patented "Cave'o'Dave".
You haven't read that zombie survival manual have you? Give it a go (I'll try to find the writer and the actual name of the book), it's actually quite hilarious to read!
1. Something simple, semi-automatic small-cal. Most likely 5.56 mm due to it being a standard issue caliber (you're only going to inflict major damage via headshots anyways, so why not use something which is sufficiently accurate, light to carry and plenty in supply?)... G36(K) should do, with some optics. M1 Carbine if all else fails.
For a sidearm... silenced Glock.
2. Wakizashi or kukri. Crowbar for general use and blunt trauma. A bow for silent kills. A general purpose knife.
3. BMW or KTM travel motorcycle (á la Resident Evil 3... as with few other options above). Travelling done either by that or by foot. For extreme cases, or where there's more people, an SUV MAY be considered.
4. Ummmmm... http://fc38.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/030/6/0/60a75fcd0c27c95df90178ad24043d37.jpg prolly wouldn't be that bad of a choise (was browsing dA anyways so...). Few nice ones I know personally, too.
5. Dave Brubeck's Take Five as main tune... with most of my library and few other as moody stuff.
6. German medievil castle could do (those cool things on clifftops)... although a bitchy place if the zeds learn how to climb, or block the entrance.
Good boots (the hiking kind), suitable clothing for the conditions, well fitting and fireproof; most likely some military cargoes, few T-shirts (normal and full-length) that move moisture away from your body, a good (fireproofed) fleece, a hardshell jacket. Fire- and slashproof gloves (Nomex/Kevlar). Sunglasses, a wool/fleece cap and a baseball cap. Slashproof vest (the same police use to counter knife attacks) worn under the jacket, over the T-shirt, possible arm protection. A good hiking backpack to carry all the ammo, food and utilities, packed so that it makes no unnecessary sounds. Camelbak to keep water available even if all other kit must be abandoned.
You'll get a good idea of my ideal stuff if you dig back into the fighting thread(s) and read me lists over there. Some very nice high-performance kit listed there.
Mark's already been given mine:
Main weapon: Private army.
Backup weapon: Army of "projects" designed to my own personal specifications.
Vehicle: Most likely a helicopter or other aircraft, I'm still awaiting my technical consultant/mark to get back to me on this one.
Babe to repopulate earth with: Why would I want to repopulate the earth if my sole intent on creating and releasing a virus was to depopulate it?
Theme song: Resident evil theme
Base of operations: Numerous "HIVE" style fortresses around the world.
In the highly unlikely case I'm in the position of "survivor":
Main weapon: Any form of 12 gauge combat shot gun preferably semi auto, considering where I am in the world, 12 guage is the most likely ammo I'm likely to come across
Backup weapon: Axe/Shovel/Spade or any appropriate alternative, baseball/cricket bat is not advised considering the number of cheap/weak ones you are bound to come across.
Vehicle: 4x4, most likely a landie, Mitsubishi Warrior/Animal/Shogun or similar fancy 4x4
Babe to repopulate earth with: Suzy Way
Theme song: hmm... Audioslave - Cochise, My World - Emigrate, Hellraiser (VNV Nation Remix) - Suicide Commando, Hold Back The Day/Just Run/Ripped Apart/Headstones and the walking dead/Swinging the Dead/Head on to Heartache (Let Them Rot) - DevilDriver, 99/All Against All/No Compromise/D.O.A - The Haunted
Base of operations: If I didn't try meeting up with Mark I'd no doubt just dot about the place killing off zombies/people to get supplies.
1. Main: G36E C-Mag with EOTECH holographic scope.
2. Secondary: HK-69 with couple of ammo (buckshot, HE, Flares)
3. LFV, exactly modified Humvee constructed for long trips and defence.
4. My girlfriend
5. "You are Winner" - f*ck, I dunno who made this
6. After few modifications Humvee can be changed into small fortress where you can rest. And nice bed, exactly for 2 people... (of course "nice" as for post-apo climate)
1. Nothing fancy, probably an old and reliable AKS-74. Plenty of them around in here.
2. An CZ-100 ! It's czech made and well, not too hard to get here in Czechia And the bayonet for dad's Type 63 rifle.
,
3. Blah. Driving ? I can still walk !Czech Army boots should be good enough !
4. My Ex-Girlfriend. Oh C'mon, screw the fact that we've broke up ! Her boyfriend is probably dead by now (And she knows kick box, wooooo)
5. Princes of the Universe by Queen, don't ask why I've picked this one.
6. Everything and Everywhere .Can't stay at one place for too long. I would probably use TrooP's Humvee, he can share for sure
As for equipment I would go for this blue track suit and with some AK Mag pouches over it
1. Main weapons ?
Well... a blade... it would allow me to outmatch zombies in close combat
2. Backup weapons ?
Grenades... Explosives... Tripwires...
3. Your means of transport
My feets
4. A suitable person to repopulate earth with
What a question ? Chuck Norris of course
5. Your theme tune
Bananaphone music...
6. Your base of operations / hideout
D@ve house...
I sadly have thought about this scenario far too many times. My girlfriend being on the recieving end of my rants...
I think, unfortunately weapons may be out of the question, unless you know where to get them from and how... but here you go, a fantasy list and a realistic one
Fantasy
1.SIG 550 with scope. Glock22
2.HK MP5. Samurai Sword!
3.Well, as manually pumping petrol would be ok for a few years until it ran out, I guess a Nissan Navarro.
4. I'd say it has to be the pro of all pro's... Alice from Resident Evil!
5. Baby got back.
6. Edinburgh castle.
Realistic
1. A bat.
2. My legs
3. Horse
4. My girlfriend, provided she isn't dead.....well, it could be worth a try either way!
5. The A Team.
6. Maybe some grotty part of the country that even zombies will detour round....maybe Widnes....Its a poo-hole of a town!
D@ve, are the Zombies you create going to be slow moving moaners or fast running screamers? And will they die out after a while or are they the immortal undead without headshot?
lol.....
One thing that bugged me with Quarantine was the blood thirsty nature of the game for processor power. Will the new ones be any better performance wise?
I might opt for a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6JWCEmCgD8&feature=related now. Also I think my secondary weapon choice hasn't got enough damage effect. You'll find me armed with a http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fc/Smith_%26_Wesson_Model_500_flickr_szuppo.jpg now.
1.M24 or a AR15
2.Colt 1911 .45
3.bike or car
4.hmm one of my 3friends whoever survives
5.End of all hope nightwish
6.oil rig
Ive read the WWZ and Zombie survival guide
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_Survival_Guide
Read it! You might succumb to large amounts of laughter, tho'!
This manual is a waste of time. Dave hasn't unleashed his zombie brute yet, so all suggestions you could possibly find in that book should be outdated!
I've read it. It's got some good advice. Got some very bad advice too.
Mr Brooks seems to have a vendetta against Colt as well... I mean, it's not perfect, but I'd hardly say the M16 is the "worst assault rifle"... maybe the M16A1, but the A2 and A4 aren't that bad. Keeps saying bad things about handguns too...
Stoppages and jammings aren't that common with machetes, I'd guess.
The M16A1 remedied quite a few problems the Original M16 had, it added the forward assist and what not.
And giving the fact that the virus is 100% transmittable and efective I doubt that the best thing to do is end up full of infected blood.
I didn't read the book, but acording to the internetz users (I visited places where the people has Brooks' zombie concept) one of the best weapons available is the Glock 17 (which I agree, but only as a sidearm), and a .22 Sniper Rifle. While it isn't a bad weapon, the efective range is a bit poor. It's acurrate, but as far away you are, better. If I had to choose, I would stay with the M16A4 rather than the CZ Model 2.
The second book (which I read, "World War Z") it's a bit better that "ZSG", at least acording what I read from teh interntez.
Ever seen this Zombie Dating site ?

1. AK-47 good old fashioned/reliable weapon
2. I have lots of swords in my house. Haven't tried if i could chop a head of so it would be better to take a bat. Flashlight, batteries any water can so I could refill, a radio
3. A bicycle fast, agile (can get out of traffic), not needing fuel
4. I know some girls that could shoot a gun without panicking
5. Vampyric Tyrant by Satanic Warmaster
6. It's better to keep moving.
Good God I totally forgot about this thread.
Oh, the memories!
Ummm...
Light way:
1) Primary equipment: M21 and accesiories (Black paint, steel bipod, last tech scope for exelence).
M4A1\M203 with a M433 HEDP vest of velt (oh I forgot! SOPMOD).
2) Secondary equipment: Two glock 18 C with extended clips (30 rounds) and tac lights with them.
A good black and resistant hardness for the glocks and on the velt or vest of grenades.
4 RGD defensive grenades (Explode on contact with ground!)
3) My http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8011/dodgecharger.jpg
4) My girlfriend.
5) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO_QntXc-c4
6) Keep moving! If I dont find some troopers, SF soldiers or rebels well trained to live with, my first option is open.
Heavy way:
1) Primary equipment: MK-48\145 (Have a tactical scope!) but with a 200 round velt, the bipod.
G36-E with scope and 100 round clip and the grenade launcher with only the vest of HEDP.
2) Secondary equipent: Smith's & Wesson's 357 (375 for some people), or again the glocks cos they pack a good punch!
3) From the "Death race" movie: http://static.urbanpower.cl/images/2008/06/death-race-machinegun.jpg
4) Luciana Salazar. (Search for her at google, you will know why I say google and not the hyperlink, nothing nasty, its good but no good image found, so look at your behest) and my girlfriend would be planing a "Hitman Agent 47" strangulation once she see this post.
5) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHAqT0XOog8 in the ipod.
6) Once again, the same, Move God darn it!
Guns
1. Main weapons: barret 81 .50 cal modificated for night and day operations. mp5 silenced with grenade launcher, radio with lazer target designator for the tight situations.
2. Backup weapons: 9m with extended magazine, combat knife, 5 frag nades, 22 grenade of the launcher.
3. Your means of transport: HMMWV with bullet proof glass, blindage lvl 5 ( dont think they are strong to break the glass and steel hehe.
4. A suitable person to repopulate earth with if the entire population was extinguished exept me and my girlfriend then theres no point, she could die becuase of the part of childbirth or pregnancy and the dman kid wont fight until de 15. >:(
5. Your theme tune or whatever you'd have on an iPod etc. why not have more than 1? hehe... saw theme song..., three days grace- animal i became, breaking benjamin- breath.
6. Your base of operations / hideout: militar base with suministers (and i mean bullets, food, cloths, water, oil, etc.) for more than 10 years with soldiers under my command: engeniers, elite troops, etc.
as special equipment an: nano suit that can take impacts, a gas mask ( if the virus its in the air that i breath), kevlar protection all around my body made that any bith, cut wont be able to touch my skin or anything, bullet proof tactical glasses, ( who need speed when ur a invencible tank ) combat tactical boots with a knife in the back of the boot.
Stead of making all that and expending money in that totally expensive suit, weaponry, troops, and music list in original disks
Why dont you research something to become god forever and that would be more simple and "easy"
Maybe use a cheat...
Because Zombies are incapable of faith therefore rendering God useless?
Don't spam my threads with useless comments please.
Boredom and hotness in my room so, update time:

1 year on! Oh what fun!
I can't believe how many mistakes I made last time... I mean... I wouldn't have died, but... yeah....
1. Vz.58 w/ Aimpoint (not too fussy as to exactly which model of aimpoint), underbarrel R870MCS
It's a nice reliable piece of equipment. Not so much as a kalashnikov, but it's won't fall apart when you need it working and that's all that really counts. Admittedly, ammo might be a problem over here... but hey... that's why we invented boats, right? An underbarreled 12 gauge allows the removal of those... "persistent problems".
2.1. Machete
I'll admit, I don't like getting close to people. Decaying people much less so. Still, can't deny the need to make a silent takedown every so often... and the hell if I'm going to carry a 50T crossbow around with me...
2.2. Tankhammer
So, planning on gettin' yerselves some fancy wheels, done thunk yerselves you could outsmart ol' Dave with them treads of yers? Well I gots some news fer ya! *Tankhammer*
(For those of you who don't know what a "Tankhammer" is... it's kinda like a sledgehammer, but instead of a normal hammerhead, it's got a PG7)
3. None.
Any motorized vehicle is going to need to be a compromise between fuel efficiency and mobility. They're going to be everywhere, so there's no point in trying to outrun or outmanoeuvre them en mass. Fuel means people, people means zombies. Not to say that vehicles as a whole aren't worthwhile, if I need a car, I'll take one. It's not like the zombies are gonna use them.
4. Yes
Personally I think it's a good idea. I'll definitely consider it when the time comes.
5. Nothing
Not to be a buzzkill, but loud noises tend to attract the infected, they also tend to muffle out the sound of them approaching. Just sayin'.
6. None
Constant mobility is the only real way to avoid being overwhelmed. Though, if any of you do manage to secure yourself a nice little vacation spot, I'll be more than happy to "help you out with that".
Or, you know, a moonbase. (Oh, wait, no, there won't be a moonbase! Damn you Obama!)
Oh, and before I forget, Shark Attack:
Time to update mine a bit, too, I guess.
1. Main weapons (firearms)
AK-102/AK-104 - Would either take the 5.56 NATO or 7.62x39 mm version depending on the situation and where I am. Front grip and light, possibly a grippod, plus Aimpoint with a magnifier.
CZ 75 SP-01 - Shadow version propably. Due to the excellent ergonomics and sufficient weight it's the perfect pistol for fast close-range shooting... if you miss a torso at 25 m with this you've done something very wrong. 9x19 mm with 20-round magazines.
2. Backup weapons (melee, tools)
Kukri - The Nepalese "utility knife". Excellent for chopping things into pieces plus it's pretty much the universal tool for Nepalese.
Crowbar - Another fairly effective tool, useful for melee. Longer reach than the Kukri plus helps... accessing things.
Utility knife - For the instances where Kukri is too big and cumbersome.
3. Your means of transport
On foot - Mostly would do the travelling with a few good friends, backpacking across the wastelands. Thus, relatively light load and good hiking clothes.
Motorcycle - Might keep one available just in case. The heftier travelling type.
Random SUV -
4. A suitable person to repopulate earth with
Oh yes
5. Your theme tune or whatever you'd have on an iPod etc.
Spotify plugged to active ear protectors...
6. Your base of operations / hideout
Castle - One of those medieval castles in located near the Alp regions
Gee, round two! I won't revise all of my choices though, some were just perfect.
Well, I only fired a couple of rounds with one when I was still a member of the local shooting club. Anyways, it should deliver leaden death to any Zombie messing around on my premises.
Wait a second... "will deliver death to Zombies"?!
Will deliver life
1. Main weapons
1.1: Keltec RFB
A valid point, one that I must now reconsider...damn you!
I now re-refer you to point 4.1 with amendum.
More junk to revive!
Pick your copy of the http://i.min.us/jmXhQa.jpg now!
Oh, what fun! We should resurrect this thread every year!
Who exactly are your sidekick and end boss?
I'm barely four months old. I'm quite happy that I know how to hit the spacebar.
My poster...
Couldn't think of anything specific for the other two inventory slots except maybe a solar charger and some form of NV goggles perhaps.
