ArmA2 vs OFP2, Current expectations Options

the only thing i can say about OFP2 (DR) is "one big secret" so comparing anything to OFP2 is like comparing to uknown

I think OFP2 is gonna be a COD4 wonna be ..CM dont have BIS behind them so I think that it wont be as good. Im still gonna buy it just to see though. lol
What I love about ArmA & OFP 1 is the fact that you can get your face taken of by a single Dragunov round from a guy u cant even see lol but OFP2 seems a little to ghost recon all futuristic. Also the people saying that Russians V US is old ...SO who cares ..Germans V Americans in WW2 is old but we all still buy the new WW2 FPS dont we.
I personally think that the idea of the cold war actually turning hot was great and missed the setting in Arma. The Sahrani conflict didn't do it for me.

CM showed FLIR for OFP2, CM showed better effects
CM info about OFP2 is very poor and enigmatic, but those things that they shown are far better than Arma

i would like Arma 2 to be made by BIA (VBS developers), not BIS
yet we have no competition is such type of games, maybe in future there will be, but OFP2 is maybe 2010

i have no idea what in OFP was made by BIS and what by CM, but Arma1 was for me biggest disappointment in gaming

for sure CM will not do "no fire invisible cannons"like BIS did
have you shot BMP2 in the night ? heh, super canon, that has no flash and fire, top-secret weapons that make SLA/Soviets hidden in dark even when fire from automatic canon...
it is stupid that PKT/coax machinegun gives more fire/light than 25, 30 mm automatic cannnon

If you want VBS2 features you have to pay the VBS2 price. Simple.

Everything except the campaign voices was done by BI.

Well Vilas, but in my honest oppinion you should go to OFP2 fans and make them some zombie mod if you really hate BIS so far...
Well, I just cant see other options, that's all.

The other option is BIS delivers with ArmA2.

I have to agree. I dont mind MP ArmA on occasion but I still play OFP as a preference for small MP matches and SP Mods.

But ArmA was more an OFP 1.5 as such; and was the first independent venture by BIS. So hopefully they have learnt from the process and ArmA II will be brilliant, hell, I would even settle for just half of the enjoyment and gametime OFP have me!
