WW2 multiplayer compatible addons, request help finding some Options

Hi,
I tried out OFP demo the other day and really enjoyed it so I brought 3 game of the year copies for me and afew friends to play.
They have yet to arrive and probably wont for a week due to the time of year but I started collecting up some addons to use and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on which ones I should look at.

They need to be 100% muiltiplayer compatible (coop) so sadly as far as I understand it, that rules out most big mods like IN44 and Lib mod.
Would really appreciate any advice as I have searched through 50 pages on the BI forums, but its hard to know which ones to start with and how compatible they are with others.

So if anyone has any suggestions on WW2 or other addons which they think would be worth a look or has any suggestions about compatiblity seen I don't actaully have the game yet, please if you could let me know I would really appreciate it.

Sadly though I read it don't work in multiplayer otherwise wouldn't of added this thread

Mainly what I am trying to do is get to the level of INV44, with putting together a bunch of other addons + Islands and stuff which can work in coop missions.

So as said before, if anyone has any suggestions about any addons which they think I should look at, I would really appreciate it.

you must try INVASION 1944 MOD, one word: AMAZING!

As Bracken said before, and as I can confirm, Invasion 1944 was primarily designed as a single player mod initially, we never got around to making it MP compatible

I know i know that m8, but still remains one of the best MOD I've never played for OFP, really

FDF WW2 stuff is pretty decent imho for MP some pretty damn good missions out there for it too!

Yeah sadly I tried FDF 1.3>1.4 but I decided to not use it for two reasons..
1/ I had problems with sound, as I couldn't hear anything.... this however was probably something I overlooked
2/ My friends PC only has a 10GB hard drive and FDF contains a whole lot of units/vehicles that we wont use at all, but are required to play the WW2 part of the mod. These take up a whole lot of space.

I also was reading the INV44 1.2 demo thread and it sounded to me that because it was an earlier version and not much complicated things were added, it works in muiltiplayer (MP missions were included). I have not had a chance to test it in multiplayer, but hopefully all is as it seems in the thread. Sure is a great pack though!(added link to top post)

So I think I now have my base mod, which I will edit other armor/weapon values around (just for private use).

I tried the full version of I44 and it is really great as Linker said, the intro was by far the best cut scene I have seen in OFP/Arma and The island is also very enjoyable to play on. Wish I could remove it and add it to the demo units but never mind will keep looking for another, hopefully similar island.

I also added the WW2EC US pack, and am looking at adding their British one also... depending on how well things get a long

Also I had a long play round on the jungle fever redux mod and that has keeped me busy

Edit: Also anyone please know what map this one is in the WW2EC banner at the top with the poppies?

Or for that matter, anyone have any suggestions on grassy islands that do not cause to much performance loss?

Searched OFP info and few others but no luck... (by WW2 alliance)
