Does anyone have even a vague idea of when Arma 2 is going to be released in the UK? Most sites say Q1 2009, but there hasn't been any confirmation or denial of this by BIS. I am starting to get worried that it will get delayed (again).
Has there been no news at all since November? |

Q1 2009 is the date we've been given. Apparently it's going to be February, but don't take that as gospel.

Q1 covers from 1 of January until March 31.
They are releasing a video each week, every thurday. There are 4 videos, so I guess that the release date will be confirmed the 19th and it will be at the end of March/April. |

And are not only 4 videos, are 6, so everything will end the 5 of March, I guess that they will say the date there. Yes, you're right, but when then? The date or the game is going to be released in Q1?
And we are going to get 6 factions? I mean 6 ArmA/OFP factions, the one that appear in the mission editor. |

You'd be a bit hard-pressed to make a video for the gamelogic faction

I believe it will be the June date.... if Amazon are willing to take your money for it, it must be almost ready. I am really annoyed with Bohemia Interactive though, they could have had the decency to take five minutes out and make a press statement or announcement. It's disappointing to get this news finally from a retail site.

Seeing as it's now April and not here Q1 was a little optimistic. I would love the game to be out, just for the selfish reason as everyone else. I'm torn, I want to play it but I also want it to be right! I want it o be bug free, to install and run on my, and everyone's PC. I don't want to see the forums ablaze with problems and issues. We sort of need it to be great out of the box... This is a big ask but one I think we are entitled to ask for. It should install without issue on any PC that meets the min requirements, running Windows XP or Vista, 32bit or 64bit. Some guy running a cheap Dell or a multi-core 12Gb monster!
The minimum we as customers can demand is that it installs and runs without issue, purely from a technical standpoint. It has to work! Game play is down to the creative types and I'm sure that will be great it's the technical stuff I'm worried about. If we as customers have to wait to give them time yo test and fix the bugs then that's fine, I would much prefer a solid working game in a few months than a buggie piece of crap now! --------------------      |

Hi, Its even shown on the official Arma2 Site ;release date 26 june 2009 ,so hopefully it wont be further delayed and it will come out end off june(Lets hope so).Also when i was looking on a gamestore site from belgium for release date for arma2 i did find the release date for Operation Flashpoint 2(Sept.2009)but no date for Arma2. So fingers crossed for June 26! Cya
