Hello everyone...

i got a problem with my Arma II.
After installing the newest ATI Catalyst drivers for XP - 9.8 the performance went very very deep down....i used to play on all normal setting with 1280x1024 resolution but after the install of the drivers the game at these details is unplayable...
I tried to reinstall the game, install older drivers, but nothings helps...

Yesterday i found out, that sometimes it`s possible for me to set normal or high texture setting without any performance drops...
but sometimes i must play only on min. settings.

Does anyone knows a solution?

I got:
Intel DualCore E8500 3,16 GHz
4 GB RAM
Radeon 4850 1 GB

Please upload your ArmAII.rpt and your dxdiag.txt to http://arma.pastebin.com and post the links here. Otherwise it's almost impossible to help.

Yeah i have had the same problems, nothing but lag and stuttering. But i found that this happens if i let the *AA* be managed by Arma 2 and not the catalyst control centre. The game can run fine if i switch to x16 AA in the CCC but this disables it in game and the graphics look terrible. This is using the Beta patch as i had the same prolem with the original 1.3. So the conflict still has'nt been resolved helpsos.gif
