Hi everybody! How you doing??

You know.. its been a while.. i seen some of you people of ofp.info but.. to cause BREAKING NEWS
im gonna tell you guys who i am..

Its me woodpecker hehe lol Yep smile.gif
My name is now doowmas cos i used woody everywhere (notice if you say Doowmas backwards,
you are actually saying my real life name - Sam Wood tongue.gif)

Anyways, off the breaking news.

You know that the uniforms of the US troops are desert style, when they in the desert, to a human
eye, they do blend in very well and is hard to spot... can AI tell the difference? Cos i cant see the
point in retexturing units (other than making them look good) if it does not impact on the game.

ArmA is ace btw smile.gif Just needs more improvements.

cya!

Well, the AI obviosly can't tell the difference, unless you have defined how hard the unit is to spot in the config.

...and I don't think many know / remember you. tongue.gif

lol SK i remember woody laugh.gif
I can see what your saying. Enabling AI to recognise a type of uniform and how it blends in to its surroundings would be an interesting addition to the level of realism. I hate in MP playing as the US in woodland environments as you stick out like a saw thumb where as the axis woodland cammo units blend in beautifully. Im sure this will be implemented over the comeing years perhapse options to alow yourself to apply cammo cream, stick leaves and twigs in your webbing and get muddy to hide yourself better from the enemy. Thus reducing the Ai's ability to detect you codeing wise? would be a good project ^^
cheers
