Hey,
The work is done for this v1.00 release. I just need to get permission from another addon team for the use of their M72 LAW which is shown in action in the last two images of the gallery below, and then I can release the addon. Fingers crossed! MY SAS UNITS WITH LOADOUTS AND IN ACTION I really hope I get their permission! Munkee |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the LAW launcher model from OFP, isn't it?

As a member of the CWR team, I can confirm that.
You should be able to find some better quality LAW launchers too from other addons. HWM addons packs for example have a good looking M72 LAW launcher. Also, if I recall right, vilas also did one of them to his weapon packs. |

I've asked W0lle very kindly if he will help me out with getting the MLOD for the M72 LAW from the CWR demo, but in the meantime, I have opted not to use the CWR .pbo with my addon and instead to use vilas's weapons addon for the M72 LAW.
To that end here is the link for my SAS DESERT PATROL You will need the following addons to make it work; Plumose Desert Weapons Aimpoint Desert Weapons UKF Weapons Vilas Weapons Any problems let me know. Hope you enjoy, Munkee |

My personal view (dunno if others would agree) is that u should remove the templated faces for each of the patrol. As much as I know they represent each of the 8 members of the bravo20, I kinda also wanna use these SAS as generic SAS that I can place in missions. The faces atm that are on each guy just dont seem to look that real.
Apart from that, I am dying for the release of the Bergens now. Keep it up man |

Hey guys,
I've been quietly working away on fixing some issues with the desert patrol units like skin tone and the bergens etc but I wanted to also get started on the next phase of my SAS addon, the Afghan undercover units. Here are some screenies of the WIP Basis of the unit My WIP Still got to texture the Pakol (afghan hat), look to reduce his sun tun and maybe pull the shemagh over his mouth and nose, but apart from that I think this one is there. Let me know what you think. Munkee This post has been edited by Munkee(GBR): Jun 4 2009, 14:50 |
