Sometimes some topics are not visited every minute, so it can be "nothing" for a few hours Game logic you will not need for now, triggers do what their name suggests - they trigger events. The simplest way to do what you need (there are other ways to do it) is to place two Ah-1z, give them get out waypoint, then getin waypoint on their cobras again, then guard waipoint & place it near the target area. Now place a trigger (you can make it bigger\smaller - just play with the numbers) near the area where you expect to see your first enemies. In the trigger menu select SLA (OPFOR) as "spotted by Americans" or something like this (my version of Arma ain't english) & connect the trigger via synchonise option in the waypoints\groups\etc. menu. Connect the Cobras' getout waypoint with you newly create trigger. Hold left mouse button and all the way from the trigger to waypoint. Now, when some aemricans see some SLA units in the area covered by ur trigger, they will signal the cobra pilots to get in their already empty cobras and fly to the target area. It's pretty much the same thing with your secon issue: place a trigger: SLA as "not present in the area" (they are dead or running away in fear), and in the advacned trigger options select end mission - so when the trigger sees that no enemies are present in some area, it triggers mission end. uff... do search for some tutorial, ok? There are many of them. |

1. disable the grass & no more view blocking + more FPS 2. there was a game called "hacker" that had no readme, no tutorials, nada, & the first quest you had to complete was the password challange - you actually had to guess what the password was Now, that was frustrating and difficult, and ArmA1 is just pure fun. |

there's no "the" SKS becasue there's one in Vilas weapon pack, one (the same model) in his P85 mod & the best one in BWars weapon pack. all have different classnames |

since i don't know what the RTE is, I don't know if it will work in the RTE check the name of the gun (it IS possible that the person who wrote the readme with the weapon list simply made a spelling mistake). try other weapons? do u know where the init line is? it that long empty thing in the middle of the menu that u use to place new units on a map... and dont forget to write ; after every add-blah-blah-blah command and u know what - after you figure it out, consider yourself an advanced user, seriously, no less that 50% of arma players don't know how to add weapons ----------------------------------------------- edited: here you go, it's six_+blah-blah-blah for FN SCAR-L-CQB removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; this addweapon "SIX_SCAR_L_CQB_rifle_EOtech"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; for FN SCAR-H-ACOG removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addweapon "SIX_SCAR_H_rifle_ACOG"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; for FN SCAR-H-Sniper removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addmagazine "20Rnd_762x51_B_SCAR"; this addweapon "SIX_SCAR_H_sniper_rifle"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; this addmagazine "HandGrenadeTimed"; etc., etc. |

in da looong init line of a soldier unit write: removeallweapons this; it will remove all weapons & maagazines & u will get an unarmed soldier; find a list of all availabe firearms & magazines for them Now, to give a soldier some gun, write: this addmagazine "xxx"; this addweapon "xxx"; xxx is the name of the weapon & the name of the magazine if you want more than one magazine, write: this addmagazine "xxx"; as many times as you need if you can alt+tab easily, create a simple txt file with such commands, so you can quickly copy paste whatever weapon loadout you want, & get back to Arma. |

And what in the meaning of life etc., right? 1.something with 500mb vram & good speed but not too modern since there are reports that ultra-modern hardware may have some issues with arma1. 2. there are no manuals for the oxygen2, u need to figure it all out on your own. Visit the ask an addonmaker topic on this forum. 3.every unit in the editor can be placed on a map as "flying", "in formation", "not in formation" or "inside a vehicle" - the last option is what u need. 4.i don't know, i only use BIS maps. 5.yes, and lots of them, a lot more than aram2 addons, at least for the next 6+ months. |
