This place wouldn't be the same without you! I'm utterly convinced so! Thanks folks, that means a lot to me. Oh well, I'm gonna handle it. It's in my colon, but the prognoses are still good. It didn't start to spread yet and they'll operate to remove it, hopefully leaving me without any leftovers. -------------------- |

This place wouldn't be the same without you! Yes, there would be less socio-political rants, no mentioning of a flat country being below sea level, no whining about caravans clogging up the left lane ... wait a minute ... Nvm I seem to recall you having problems with your intestines before. Did the doctor(s) mention that as a possible indication? (just wondering in case we ever experience similar problems, we'll know that it needs to be taken seriously) -------------------- |

As a matter of fact they managed to work around a coloscopy for years despite some certain indications, always argueing that my spleen might be the cause of my troubles.
I'm lucky that this thing I prolly had for quite a while turned malicious just now. Odds are it's just a spontaneous mutation and I'm over and done with it as soon as they've removed it. Matters are worse if it's a genetic disposition, because that means it might return. That said, what might happen in ten years is no business of mine now. -------------------- |

Feeling lightheaded? Take an aspirin. Suddenly lost your vision? Take an aspirin. Got all the signs of a heart-attack? Take two aspirins. You've been shot in the head, and your legs got severed by a truck running you over while you lay there, bleeding to death? Well alright, we'll take a look (and then give you an overdose of aspirins) ... Most doctors probably are major shareholders of aspirin producers. Useless sods, ever last one of them. And the worst part is they can fail all they want in playing with people's lives, their buddies in the medical review board will always have their backs, and they can continue to make hundreds of thousands a year -------------------- |

Hi fellas, not posted here in a very long time, but I heard via Mark about your situation pMASTER and I just wanted to say that I wish you the best of luck in overcoming this, and that I'll be rooting for you along with the rest of us. I too have experienced rather personal run-ins with cancer, my Grandma has actually survived breast cancer once and ovarian cancer twice. Modern medicine shall do yee wonders.
Anyway, I hope you pull through A-OK. |

I'll undergo surgery on Thursday the 5th.
I had a week full of crap - literally - but the findings are positive. The cancer is limited to just one spot of my colon and they can completely remove it. Histological exploration found no genetical disposition whatsoever, it's just a spontaneous mutation of a formerly harmless tumor. I'm some lucky dude. If the tumor hadn't started to bleed, they might not have found it in time. -------------------- |

Glad to hear it pMaster!
I'll be thinking of you and await the good news in the days after. I am glad our most sarcastic member will be around to berate the peon's for a long time to come. And I am glad the left-wing parties are not deprived a future leader to oppose -------------------- |
