hi Vilas, I watched the pictures of your weapon, and I think that you should be more attentive at the modelling. don't triangulate with isolated vertex, try to use squares instead. the shape of the weapons will be better and also the uvmapping (and it will be easier).

Alien movie helmets were in fact M1 helmet with some elements added

so yes, they are from Korean War, but because they were like that in Alien Movie, they were using M1, like in Star Wars L2A3 Sterling was playing laser-gun, and MG42 was base of Smartgun and Thompson smg was base for Pulse Rifle

so in fact i was following movie more than AVP games

exelent job villas im a big fan of alien movie and this marines has one real replicate of this marines worship.gif oups the p3d has binarised tongue.gif if you want its a pleasure for me for add one usable flashlight.

Great addon! Although somewhat unbalanced - the s-gun has a shorter range compared to... let's say.. m240 or BIS RPK (PKM).
I think in the USCM "universe" these soldiers mostly fight against rebels and interstellar tangos smile.gif

there is nly one beta mission now, but soon i hope to create more missions, as i just begin to learn how to do it :]

concerning S-gun, as i read "fanpages" of Alien , smartgun is not long distance rifle, it is gun to fight on short distances with small cartridges, i know it is all fantasy, but... i wait when Yac will prepare new textures, models, when Cervantes will do working flashlight for it (i fixed lights on APC 2 days after release , i updated file on the same link on http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/vilas/upd/vil_apc.7z cause there was an error in reflectors of APC

Hello Vilas can u make normal WW2 allied units, and American 101st Airborne infantry? Because they all look the same just with different collors, signs, helmets, weapons. I saw your other addons and they'r awesome I don't think it would be too hard for you mellow.gif

look at Project 85 topic and you will understand why i have no time for other projects, WW2 soldiers are developed by someone else on my base , so he will release with me update of WW2 pack, i have no time for touching soldiers

out of curiosity (which killed the cat) tried the WPH - oh, the horror! smile.gif the SLA now lacks that "shiny effect" on helmits on not just the new units, but the old ones are affected too!
Delete, forget, never DL again.

SLA helmets have material used, i don't know how it affects other ??
on my PC it works, maybe some colision between addons ???
anyone other reported such thing ??? i had no reports about it

I have included S&W revolver from OFP (dark reskin) to weapon pack also XM-177E2+XM-148 to be used by Green Berets in 1985 smile.gif
but weapon pack will be released in few days, also I came to the conclusion that 1.14 patch decreased InitZoom too much, other addonmakers have the same users voices "please increase zoom".

but what is new:

noone reported me that my M1 Abrams was useless because of error in cannon caused by weapons pack definition of ammo doubled.

I have fixed it. Now M1 Abrams of RACS and M1 Abrams from VIBI is strong as it should be smile.gif

as "my apologise" I have included green skin made by Topas for 85 mod, so now M1 Abrams looks like on Mod promo screens , not BIS camo :]

nothing more has been changed except weapon M68 and green skin

error was due to doubled definitions of M68 ammo and magazines, if addons were used without weapons pack, than all was probably okay

I don't know... the Rellikki (srr if I spelled it wrong) pack still has that effect when used alongsinde your units, but ordinary BIS soldiers don't...
I don't have any big mods: mostly addons like McDonald's infantry, RH weapons etc. - no SLX or sound mods or whatever.

WPH mistake material on helmet of SLA fixed

and i included bonus for sory for this mistake: South Sahrani Police, cause North already has Militia made smile.gif
also 2 more FIA soldiers in Flecktarn (previously FIA was in alpenpflage)

also for test purpose i released weapons packs update

- 2 revolvers in WPN (OFP one and more realistic with longer barrel) in readme there is one class "vil_revolver" , but other weapon is "vil_revolver2"
- added XM148 to XM177 (in readme also)

both Polish weapons pack and universal weapons pack now have bigger zoom for ironsights, cause after 1.14 patch i felt that game lost magnification on ironsights
i gave parameter 0.375 for initial zoom on both PWP and WPN packs

for test purpose :
