For students - 2 months of freedom! ROCK ON

You end in June? What a weird system, we finish Uni and School round November...

I don't think the kids round here finish until sometime in july (I'd remeber, because it was right next to my birthday )

Right at the start of July here, usually... I've been on vacation for rougly a month now. Still 1.5 to go, and then final year...

wow , pretty various school systems here. And what marks do you get? We get 1,2,3,4,5 ; 1=best , 5=worst

We get 4-10; 4 = worst, 10 = best.

I'm making exams in order to leave this school, and go to university

we have the same: 2 worst, 10 execcelent

I've still 2 Weeks of work and one without work, more relaxed.
Here it's 1 the best and 6 the worst.

(in Switzerland, it's the opposite, 1 the worst and 6 the best)

Well I finished on the 28th of June, and get 2 months off. Yippee-ki-yay Motherf***er!

In international comparison, I am completely fvcked by my government. Only 44 days of holidays, and then the whole shit starts again for a new year of stress, anger and bad mood in general.

Grades in German school system:

1-2-3-4-5-6
Very Good - Good - Satisfying - Sufficient - Deficient - Scant

we got holidays from 1.7-31.8/2.9 and then 10 months of school with autumn , christmas , spring holidays + small holiday days

As I said, six weeks summer holidays, one week over autumn, two over weeks Christmas, one week over carnival, two weeks over Easter and two weeks over Whitsun...

I'll have vacation from the 17th July to the 15th Octobre

and marks are

1.0 , 1.3, 1.7, 2.0, 2.3 , 2.7, 3.0, 3.3, 3.7, 4.0, 5.0

best --> worst

Why do you keep whining then how hard a student's life would be?

I never whined , I just stated that a students life isn't as easy as the general public thinks it is

During the week, party till 3 am...Poker sessions...long holidays...being absent if you don't want to attend your seminars...

ok you continent boys are wierd UK we have 'A*- U'. 'A*' being best and 'U' being ungradable. But that was 6 years ago lol. Now its all about how you run the office and whos saving the most money ^^ I get 9 days holiday a year. Thats it. Life is gunna get ya

Yeah! Which means I'm back! Muhahaha. Even though it's much more quieter than it was before. 2 months of summer, even though the weather is not that good here in Wales.

We continental folks have, at least here in Germany, even as employees 30 days of holidays anually - by law.
