If someone else's IP range was banned and his IP was caught within that band of IPs then that might be why he can't register.

I've been speaking to my team mate again and he still can't register, would it be possible for me to send his IP to an admin or moderator to see if he can be un-banned from a wide IP ban?
Thanks in advance. ATC Rogue |

Seeing as there's not much going on here... guess I'll share a few thoughts...
We should get rid of the "Addon Makers Only" section. There's been about 4 posts there in a whole year. One of them was a question thread, which received no answers. It's only purpose right now is to give every newcomer here the immediate suggestion this forum is some kind of members only club. The "Ask an addon artist!" section is equally as woeful in it's existence These boards should support the development of new addons and support their creators, yes, but the addon maker only section isn't helping anyone. I realize I'm just echoing all the arguments that were made when this section was first created, and I certainly don't want to say "I told you so", but I think the section's record should speak for itself right now. We need to get rid of this dinosaur ASAP! -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

It was worth trying, but unfortunately people just didn't pick up on it. -------------------- |

Yeah, it was worth a try but sadly failed because of a lack of interest and a lack of time on my side. Get rid of it, and if you need help...you know how to contact me. -------------------- |

Hey lads.
I can't access my emails at the moment, so I post this here, even though it's not directly related to your mainpage. For some odd reason it looks like the webserver at bwmod.armedassault.info crashed: it's FTP is working fine, it responds to ping, everything, you just can't access it with a brwoser. Thanks & cheers, TeRp This post has been edited by TeRp: Aug 5 2010, 18:38 |

Hi all,
At the moment, we are dealing with a .ftp issue , so we have been unable to host new items even if the server is running fine, we have found a temporary solution. Hosting is working again. Working on a more definitive solution. -------------------- |

Hi, isn't very clear on the front page what's for the ArmA2 and what's for the OA/CO; why don't make a banner with Marpat(W) for the ArmA2 addons and leave the current ACU banner for the OA/CO addons?, it's sad to download something thinking that it's made for the ArmA2 and then discover that's made for the OA or the CO.
Something like this (for the ArmA2 things): This only for the for the OA: And something like this (for the CO): In that way will be pretty clear what are the addon's requirements; on the ArmA the addon makers had to state clearly if it required the QG to run, but this seem to don't be a rule/the norm now with the ArmA2 with the OA/CO. They don't even say it on the readme as assuming that we all have the OA as a mandatory thing. I'd uninstalled the OA/CO because the extremely low performance so it makes me loose some time each time that i download some addon thinking that it'll work for the ArmA2 when it's really made for the OA or it's made for the CO, just an idea. Let's C ya -------------------- |

I know I am late to the party but Wipman's idea has some merit.

Who is currently able to admin the OFPR.info site? (admin, not post news)
I saw a complaint about spyware/adware/ads causing reboots for someone from the US. Since the ads are location-based (at least they used to be), I thought maybe the harmful ad could be removed. -------------------- |

OFPr.info has been down since yesterday. I thought the problem would work itself out, or that there was maintenance at the host, but it's still down ... Gamepark.cz itself seems to be working just fine.

Site is back up again, but I can't login to the admin interface (yet?), I get an Internal Server Error just after the admin login ...

I had a sudden feeling of nostalgia the other day and found myself on OFP.info, and I noticed it's still very much alive.
Either way, it had me thinking and I'd like to make a donation to Armedassault.info and OFP.info. Issue is that I don't have Paypal. If you guys have some other means of receiving donations I'd be happy to hear them. Preferably as easy as IBAN and BIC/SWIFT number, if that's ok of course. PM me if it's possible!
