a thing for the pilots : http://www.targetware.net/modules.php?op=m...62db9c21519cab5 do you know that? Yup... had it on my desktop for quite some time. Never got around it that much tho'; the graphics were not that good, CBA to check the manual and controls, and didn't find anything to fight. Plus the torque is quite big compared to Il-2. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

Does anyone actuly feel that Track IR actuly give you an advantage in a dog fight?
I personaly (and me being a drunk and tired young man whilst i game) would be prone to shoving the thing to where not even the most daring Gypsy fighter pilot of 400B.C would dare to venture Now for something complety different, does anyone find that S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Oblivion Lost and Shadows of CB, pending your nation) scares the living crap out of them? After having a lunch time enduced discussion on the matter at work, i was informed that people actuly had to minimize the game ebcouse they were afriad of creating some McNuggets in thier panaloons. It is a scary game yes, (especailly with that brain rape monster at the SpetzNatz outpost) but i dont see what a few 7.62's and a lot of yelling at my moniter can cure Anyone have any opinons on any other games that have scared the living crap out of them? -------------------- |

Try F.E.A.R, can screw with your head at times.
As for Track IR it does give you an advantage in that your situation awareness is much higher and you can keep your hands on all controls and monitor the target, your instruments and your own flight path easily by moving your head, rather than fumbling with a mouse and hat switch. Wont improve your gunnery, but will help you keep your wits about you. Oh a bioshock review I have to agree with but hey, it made me laugh so hard I almost wet myself. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/v...uation-BioShock -------------------- |

STALKER wasn't scary... I mean, the poltergeists and controllers are sort of creepy to begin with, and there are some point at which some of the nastys jump ut at you. But I wouldn't say it's like FEAR or something.
Now, the "Ghouls Forest" mod for DooM, that looks scary! I'm afraid to download it! -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Pfft learn to use a mouse and hat-switch effectively, if I can get a kill without Track IR you can! That's how I still do it also...although it's been awhile since playing IL2.. Does any of you use the IL2Stab program with it? I'm having some odd issues with latest version of it. I can't get the stupid "bullet tracer" animations off.... or it might be a glitch. Well, have to scout the older version of it again. -------------------- [mg]http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c244/Wittman_1969/armawit-1.jpg[/img]
