Annoying: people on the internet who think their right to free speech would include the obligation to exercise it. So they go and produce pages for pages of bullsh*t. Which will sadly remain in the depths of the internet for all eternity.

No valid point since the very moment you have posted in here as well! wink.gif

That said, I was addressing a different and more difficult problem than that: the dimwits who open thread after thread on a delicate issue and obviously have anything but real insight.

That might be true, but:
A. You started the thread, therefore all the posts in this thread are your fault
B. I'm not complaining about it tongue.gif

I like the day though. I get to sleep in, enjoy a feast and have beer's on the deck with the Old Man. Plus its going to be a mild day instead of a scorcher.

Every single day on the lead up to Xmas can go suck a d*** though.

You're sure? You might want to test it on another system, especially to find out whether your computer is working flawlessly or not.

Oddly enough... after putting the DVD into the old machine (~2003, now mostly used for storage), it works. Installing it onto an external HD at the moment, just in case. Wonder if burning it onto a CD and trying that in would work...

Wonder why it doesn't work on this thing, though. Wonder if it's something wrong with the whole system or just the DVD station... supermodern HD/Blu-Ray can't handle a few small scratches on the surface?

Sometimes a computer will produce CRC errors with otherwise flawless files when it has problems with accessing the RAM.
