If and or when D@V£'s experiments (Or JynX's for that matter) come to fruition and zombies start appearing what will you do?
Below are a few points of interest, list what you'd choose;
These can be as realistic or as insane as you like =] Off you go then, show us the lists. Remeber the forum image limits and other rules please, keep it civil and nobody will have to get bashed with the ban stick. -------------------- -------------------- Heed my words or risk being beaten with a stick then fed to my associate D@V£ The Rules - Most places have rules, these are ours Read them! 1- As a main weapon a FARA 83 with a scope and a Glock 17 as a sidearm.
2- Any club I can find, harder the better. 3- Normaly a simple car, but if I can really choose, well, a RV. 4- This one is the harder, I think that she could do the job more than fine (being realistics, and because the first women that came up to my head are models and the probabilities of Dave creating a Zombie holocaust are higher than me with a model). She is my friend so I know her face to face, and without those cosmetics she's even prittier. 5- I would still listening to music, it's almost a need. But a theme in the middle of the "combat"? Na, I'll pass in this one, but if I really have to choose a song, well, the theme of tara could work. 6- My RV or a cabin in the desert, but next to a city/any place where I could get food, toilet paper and any other thing I could need. When I ran out of them I will try to find as many books of agriculture and I will set up a farm someplace. |

1. Vice-like grip
2. Flailing forearms 3. Decaying legs 4. Zombie Acquaintances 5. "1_Gonk" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPJvIAWAyYM) 6. Some street or mall or something... Well, you know what they say; Get with the winning team! Well... I guess if we're working in reality then probably this: 1. Shovel, until I find something better. (Probably a FAL or SA80) 2. Machete 3. Foot. Until things quiet down a bit, at which point probably something like a landie. 4. Neither the time nor the place! Though I shouldn't expect any better from the likes of you... 5. What is this? Mark's post apocalyptic music club? Hmpf. Well, if you really want to know "At DooM's Gate - Robert C. Prince III" (no... not that Prince... he did the music for DooM) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSsfjHCFosw) 6. Nowhere. We go into that cellar and we cut off our retreat! (Ouch! ) Though seeing how no one else is... 1. AKS74U w/ Kobra optics. 2. Tankhammer (you either know what it is, or you don't...) 3. THQ's "Rh-1N0". I don't care if it's just an FV432. It's looks f*cking awesome (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thqgames/3271856242/) 4. None of your f*cking business. Besides, I'd be surprised if anyone here actually knew her... 5. As Previous List. 6. Patented "Cave'o'Dave". This post has been edited by D@V£: Mar 3 2009, 18:44 -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Though I shouldn't expect any better from the likes of you... Hahaha! 1. Definitely HK G3 with ironsights and retractable buttstock. 2. Colt Anaconda with 6 inch barrel, chambered in .44 Magnum. 3. A Jigsaw-style tricycle. It appears to me that apocalypse would require different methods of transportation. 4. Jana Defi or Yoko Matsugane shall answer the purpose. 5. Godsmack - Keep Away (from me!) and Hot Dogs - Die oidns Rittersleut. 6. Johannisburg Castle. It survived the Yankee bombings in WW2 and it has got the most exquisite wine cellar in the entire county. Probably also a nice place to start the recreation thing in industrial scales.... By the way, why are threads like this one so great fun for men like us? I guess it's the same reason why we play with Lego! I could design dozens of loadouts! -------------------- |

You haven't read that zombie survival manual have you? Give it a go (I'll try to find the writer and the actual name of the book), it's actually quite hilarious to read!
1. Something simple, semi-automatic small-cal. Most likely 5.56 mm due to it being a standard issue caliber (you're only going to inflict major damage via headshots anyways, so why not use something which is sufficiently accurate, light to carry and plenty in supply?)... G36(K) should do, with some optics. M1 Carbine if all else fails. For a sidearm... silenced Glock. 2. Wakizashi or kukri. Crowbar for general use and blunt trauma. A bow for silent kills. A general purpose knife. 3. BMW or KTM travel motorcycle (á la Resident Evil 3... as with few other options above). Travelling done either by that or by foot. For extreme cases, or where there's more people, an SUV MAY be considered. 4. Ummmmm... She prolly wouldn't be that bad of a choise (was browsing dA anyways so...). Few nice ones I know personally, too. 5. Dave Brubeck's Take Five as main tune... with most of my library and few other as moody stuff. 6. German medievil castle could do (those cool things on clifftops)... although a bitchy place if the zeds learn how to climb, or block the entrance. Good boots (the hiking kind), suitable clothing for the conditions, well fitting and fireproof; most likely some military cargoes, few T-shirts (normal and full-length) that move moisture away from your body, a good (fireproofed) fleece, a hardshell jacket. Fire- and slashproof gloves (Nomex/Kevlar). Sunglasses, a wool/fleece cap and a baseball cap. Slashproof vest (the same police use to counter knife attacks) worn under the jacket, over the T-shirt, possible arm protection. A good hiking backpack to carry all the ammo, food and utilities, packed so that it makes no unnecessary sounds. Camelbak to keep water available even if all other kit must be abandoned. You'll get a good idea of my ideal stuff if you dig back into the fighting thread(s) and read me lists over there. Some very nice high-performance kit listed there. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!
Words were coming out of my fingertips faster than my thoughts could process them in my brains... My plead is for temporary insanity that was caused by permanent insanity of very, very twisted nerve cluster that's called brain matter, that's supposed to be grey but isn't, it's black and has a somewhat sarcastic and dark sense of humor, or lacks it totally. The self-appointed God of Scor Nango. Not an emperor, just... God. |

Mark's already been given mine:
Main weapon: Private army. Backup weapon: Army of "projects" designed to my own personal specifications. Vehicle: Most likely a helicopter or other aircraft, I'm still awaiting my technical consultant/mark to get back to me on this one. Babe to repopulate earth with: Why would I want to repopulate the earth if my sole intent on creating and releasing a virus was to depopulate it? Theme song: Resident evil theme Base of operations: Numerous "HIVE" style fortresses around the world. In the highly unlikely case I'm in the position of "survivor": Main weapon: Any form of 12 gauge combat shot gun preferably semi auto, considering where I am in the world, 12 guage is the most likely ammo I'm likely to come across Backup weapon: Axe/Shovel/Spade or any appropriate alternative, baseball/cricket bat is not advised considering the number of cheap/weak ones you are bound to come across. Vehicle: 4x4, most likely a landie, Mitsubishi Warrior/Animal/Shogun or similar fancy 4x4 Babe to repopulate earth with: Suzy Way Theme song: hmm... Audioslave - Cochise, My World - Emigrate, Hellraiser (VNV Nation Remix) - Suicide Commando, Hold Back The Day/Just Run/Ripped Apart/Headstones and the walking dead/Swinging the Dead/Head on to Heartache (Let Them Rot) - DevilDriver, 99/All Against All/No Compromise/D.O.A - The Haunted Base of operations: If I didn't try meeting up with Mark I'd no doubt just dot about the place killing off zombies/people to get supplies. -------------------- Never before in the history of man, was so much buggered up by so few.

QUOTE Somewhere in the middle of nowhere away from the hordes or somewhere very defensible Holyhead would do. you would have to deal with the zombie masses stuck in Holyhead, and thats before the infection even spreads there. I would go somwhere like the highlands. With a decent rifle, theres all the deer and natural springs there to last till the zombie menace retracts. Now how to get there from down here...... 1. Main: G36E C-Mag with EOTECH holographic scope.
2. Secondary: HK-69 with couple of ammo (buckshot, HE, Flares) 3. LFV, exactly modified Humvee constructed for long trips and defence. 4. My girlfriend 5. "You are Winner" - f*ck, I dunno who made this 6. After few modifications Humvee can be changed into small fortress where you can rest. And nice bed, exactly for 2 people... (of course "nice" as for post-apo climate) |

I can still walk !Czech Army boots should be good enough ! 4. My Ex-Girlfriend. Oh C'mon, screw the fact that we've broke up ! Her boyfriend is probably dead by now (And she knows kick box, wooooo) 5. Princes of the Universe by Queen, don't ask why I've picked this one. 6. Everything and Everywhere .Can't stay at one place for too long. I would probably use TrooP's Humvee, he can share for sure As for equipment I would go for this blue track suit and with some AK Mag pouches over it This post has been edited by Avalla'ch: Mar 4 2009, 21:35 -------------------- Minsc will lead with blade and boot! I sadly have thought about this scenario far too many times. My girlfriend being on the recieving end of my rants...
I think, unfortunately weapons may be out of the question, unless you know where to get them from and how... but here you go, a fantasy list and a realistic one Fantasy 1.SIG 550 with scope. Glock22 2.HK MP5. Samurai Sword! 3.Well, as manually pumping petrol would be ok for a few years until it ran out, I guess a Nissan Navarro. 4. I'd say it has to be the pro of all pro's... Alice from Resident Evil! 5. Baby got back. 6. Edinburgh castle. Realistic 1. A bat. 2. My legs 3. Horse 4. My girlfriend, provided she isn't dead.....well, it could be worth a try either way! 5. The A Team. 6. Maybe some grotty part of the country that even zombies will detour round....maybe Widnes....Its a poo-hole of a town! -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. D@ve, are the Zombies you create going to be slow moving moaners or fast running screamers? And will they die out after a while or are they the immortal undead without headshot?

Combination of the two mate. Average speed with be about human walkin' pace, but they'll be the occasional one who'll be running around more akin to thems in 28 days later. Depends on too many facters prior to automated necrosis to be able to accurately predict. We'll say 1 in 20 will be fast.
