You could try implementing some zombie scripts from ArmA, but use it for the dog. And unless you're fine with it just standing next to you and magically doing damage to you, some animations would be necessary for immersion, but this requires making a totally new addOn.

Dogs doesn't attack in ArmA? Those bastards! Why they added dogs then?
In the trailer they showed how two dogs ran at the player after disembarking from a V-22, I fell like a foul
