On a totally unrelated note, I was woken up by the first thunderstorm of the year today. Winter is coming, hodor hodor hodor! I have no need to respond with any more than 4 terms 40", Surround Sound, Blu-Ray, Hobbit. -------------------- |

15 centimeters of snow and still more falling. Close to 100 cars crashed on a nearby motorway. Winter is coming!

Thought hate on Carver week had finished It never ends. Indigo was about yesterday, so wherever she is, there is internet. So I daresay she is somewhere within civilisation. Mustn't be in Wales. Or Finland. -------------------- |

So I daresay she is somewhere within civilisation. Mustn't be in Wales. Or Finland. Ironically Finland has the fastest average internet connection speed in Europe. Wales is sh*t though I disagree Which automatically adds weight to the validity of my post. If you disagree with something, then it must be good for mankind I disagree that you are disagreeing. I won't lie - for obvious reasons I don't rejoice in the fact that Chavez died from cancer. It's a fucking horrible disease.
Everyone has to die one day, though, and I'm not unhappy that he's gone. It is to the better of Venezuela. For every so called 'success' which he achieved he had trampled on the rights of someone else, on the Venezuelan constitution and the most basic democratic principles. @Benoist I can't see why you would mourn after him. Chavez had "his" parliamentarians - note the possessive pronoun! - grant him an annual budget of 1 billion USD. 1 billion! And he saw to it that his clan would seize control over every company and property the nationalisation of which he ordered. He was a ruthless kleptocrat. -------------------- |

Obviously yes, instead I would have liked to have seen him die of heart failure 15 years ago -------------------- |

Hey John, you gonna like this one: today in Germany a bunch of radical Muslims were arrested preparing the assassination of a wannabe-Wilders. Several months ago the man had staged a rally where protestors showed posters of Mohammed cartoons*. For the most part the public reactions boil down to "Well, why did he have to trample on the feelings of the Muslims anyway?"
*Back in the day an outraged mob of radical Muslims clashed with police, severely injuring two officers; of course the journalists blamed that on mini Wilders, too... -------------------- |

I like how it takes 2 posts to move from a nice, pleasant discussion about the painful death of a terrible person to a right-wing rant and holocaust jokes...
We should be thankful you two haven't tried to properly harness this power, the results would undoubtedly be quite horrific. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Welcome Pope Fancis!
His election could've been a historical event but alas the journalists willed otherwise. Don't get me wrong, I'm an agnostic; I won't hesitate to admit the historical importance of the date though. Buttttt. Bloody hell, even so called serious news outlets releasing pages after pages about a fricking gull on a chimney?! Really? I trust Germany's national television fared even more abysmal than anyone else's, by the way. They put up some dipshit reporter with the intellect of a sea slug and gave him some boring 'experts' to talk rubbish all the day - with "rubbish" I mean "rubbish" by the way. Brain cell scathing rubbish. And along with their inane, repetitive and utterly clueless blathering ("Why can't some cardinal post a Facebook status with the new pope's name?") they displayed the tweets of b-, c- and z-list 'celebrities' the most of which weren't any less stupid (e.g. a so called comedian posted "Just got off the shitter and white smoke rises already!"). The saddest part is that every household in this country has to pay for something like that whether they like it or not. I hate the media society. I like how it takes 2 posts to move from a nice, pleasant discussion about the painful death of a terrible person to a right-wing rant and holocaust jokes... Yeah but the Dutchman made the Holocaust jokes, that should worry you more than anything else!

I like how it takes 2 posts to move from a nice, pleasant discussion about the painful death of a terrible person to a right-wing rant and holocaust jokes... See! Now we've changed to church and celebrities-no-one-really-knows rants *^points up^* We've offended a quarter of the world's population in less than a thousand characters without even trying This post has been edited by JdB: Mar 14 2013, 02:13 -------------------- |

Now let's take on the rest. It's easily done by insulting celebrities people do know... like Justin Bieber or that Pattinson guy.
One can also offend people by editing thread titles, though. I can tell a tale or two about that. -------------------- |
