Hope you guys had a good Halloween! Don't get me started on that American commercial monstrosity imported by those whores in retailing It's a plain ripoff of St. Martin's Day that has been celebrated in Europe since the 4th century made popular by obscene advertizement budgets and badly made American movies (though I feel that "badly made" and "American" are interchangeable when it comes to movies). -------------------- |

It's a plain ripoff of St. Martin's Day that has been celebrated in Europe since the 4th century made popular by obscene advertizement budgets and badly made American movies (though I feel that "badly made" and "American" are interchangeable when it comes to movies). True that. But hey, they receive top IMDB ratings don't they. According to the millions of users of that website a movie about a repubertal guy with superpowers and a homoerotic suit is better than The Godfather. I'm sure they're right! Having said that, what's often the most silly thing about American movies is they think they need to remake European movies for their national audience. Fincher's 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' must be the most unnecessary remake ever made! It was even shot at the same places as the original film. German movies also tend to be terribly bad, though. Mostly due to massive film subsidies meaning that you don't really need a good (or at least profitable) idea to convince a bunch of financiers but only offer... sweeteners to some "public servant". Not necessarily sweeteners of the monetary kind, by the way. It's enough to promise a movie so politically correct that even skinheads would come to love them immigrants. Whilst we're at it, I've noticed a recent surge of British "thrillers" going continental. They suck balls, too. Mostly its Danny Dyer yelling at people. Or what else did I watch recently... some black 14-year-old kid going all out Rambo on an army of Serbian mafia dudes. Ha. Sometimes French movies are surprisingly good. We were occupied for 4,5-5 years. Wales has been occupied 479 years and counting Weren't you only brought home really? Clicky -------------------- |

I have disability status due to cancer now. And what is it good for? I still have to pay fees for public service broadcasters! Why, o why for the love of Christ? I don't even watch that crap. Why do I have to pay for a product that I don't want? For fucks sake! Our constitutional court tells us it's a "democratic duty", that all that stands between the people and radical ideologies are the noble public television programmes with their noble "educational mandate". Utter nonsense! All I can watch there is shitty telenovelas, shitty propaganda lots (= polemical documentaries and biased talk shows) and shitty (and grossly overexpensive) crime flicks. Goddamnit! 27 different crime shows a week. A week!
(You're right, I love ranting. Also this is a blatantly obvious attempt to revive this marvelous thread.) -------------------- |

And you try this by mentioning cancer in the very first sentence? Good luck with that ... I thought everything was still clean, so why the disability status? The German state found some money and they've finally run out of useless ways to spend it on asylum seekers and pacifists? -------------------- |

You mean to say now they spend it on useless ol' me?
Never said anything of grants, by the way. As a sideline, I'm not complaining. Ain't got no time for that. Right now I'm busy trying to figure out this... illustration @ art.alphacoders.com (slightly* NSFW). The stuff my favorite wallpaper websites become cluttered with is amazingly odd. What's this thing that the Japanese have with schoolgirls in Nazi uniforms? More importantly, can woodpeckers get a headache? Questions above questions. *Here's another one: The Queen's "not amused". Why can't the British take a statement for what it is? Why for example am I looked at like an idiot for replying to a question on how I am? P.S.: And another question! Why does this board turn [Alt]+[Num01][Num03][Num03] (a simple ellipsis!) into a salad of symbols growing with ever editing: … ? -------------------- |

No no no, I heard of this, you see, she's not a Nazi, she's a Tank. Specifically, this tank:
And, no, I don't mean "she's dressed up like a tank", she's supposed to be the tank. It's really quite simple to understand. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

How the hell is that NSFW??? I mean by that standard 110% of what we post here is NSFW, which actually is more or less true ...
That ASCII code doesn't work because you are a pompous git, that's why. What humanoid calling himself a man would even contemplate using such a gay character on the internet! And with "gay" I obviously mean the old British meaning, not the modern internet meaning. Talk about double standards right there -------------------- |
