I can relate to that feeling. I experience it about once per hour.

I would but then we'd loose a third of our posts per annum! Yeah, well, I've actually got a plan to help with that, see, what we need to do is detonate a nuke under an equatorial volcano at the earth Aphelion (about Christmas), causing a mass ejection that'll heighten the Earth's Perihelion, lengthening the year, and therefore increasing the amount of posts made per year! I've done the maths, and surprisingly this is actually the cheapest option. It also cuts down on our spending per hour, as almost all our costs are worked out yearly! Simply put, it's not just a win-win situation, it's a win-win-win situation, since we get to nuke something for Christmas! EDIT: Wait, no, I got confused, the Perihelion is around Christmas, the Aphelion is about the same time as my Birthday. You can see why I'd get them mixed up! EDIT2:My lawyer has advised me to point out that just because I was born close enough to the oppose end of the Earth's orbit to Jesus doesn't automatically make me the Antichrist. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

I'd belittle you and say something like "it's not exactly rocket science"... but... well... it kinda is rocket science... plus, since we're getting nukes involved it's also quantum dynamics! And a little bit of relativity since we're probably going to accelerate the molten rock close to the speed of light...
So, what I'm saying here is we need to find a way to get brain surgery involved... perhaps if the person setting up the bomb is, at the same time, undergoing advanced brain surgery? I don't want to overcomplicate things, but I feel we should have our bases covered, you know, in case our competitors are planning something similar. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Good grief! I'm starled to see two Brits assuming that Germans would've lost their respect for authority.

Italian authority isn't to be respected - it's an oxymoron.

I always thought Italy's government was closely intertwined with the mafia...! They are. Still the Italian politicians are nothing more than a poor knock-off of the more succesful bosses both past and present. And the structure and efficiency of the mafia is something the Italian state and political system can only dream of. They are just another example of my belief that a state controlled by one strong man is superiour to all other forms of governance, provided that man is not insane or opposed to new ideas. All animals that are no solitary follow a strong smart virile leader. Humans are the only species to elect gerriatric imbeciles with no skills other than to appear to be the least boring to lead them. -------------------- |

Also socialism always breaks down any form of initiative and necessity to develop yourself since even the laziest bum is getting taken care of and expected to settle for nothing more. Try to improve yourself and you're considered a capitalist or part of the intelligentsia = Siberia, prison, or the killing fields. A state without the goal of continiously improving itself is bound to fail. Ayn Rand is that you? |

Italy is pretty close to a failed state, just no one has had the guts to admit it yet A rather simple solution presents itself then, have the mafia run the country and the politico types run the mafia. You fix the nation and get rid of organized crime that isn't the government. -------------------- Never before in the history of man, was so much buggered up by so few.

You mean the Scottish Model? Where the SNP rabble is given a democratic majority by the commoners rabble? -------------------- |

On a somewhat tangential note "The Defiling Dutchmen" would be an excellent band name.

Pirate Metal, of course!
That is, "yar-har" pillaging pirates, not the Stalinist scumbags who've co-opted the term as of late. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.
