its just photoshop-ed, took about 10min. I work with photoshop a lot because I am an photo artist besides being an arma & flashpoint victim

Well thank you vaikless! Personally, I like the 4th and 5th screen shots the most. But putting all those sandbag wall up in the correct positions must of taken longer than 10 minutes.

I have 8600m GT 512MB and its quite good card :-P
I also prefer nigh scenes without postprocess so you can see a lot of details etc
I can run at Very High settings... I want to ask, are you editing your pictures ? or those effects are ingame ?

oh, yes that is true... but it is just one of a few coop middle east conflict simulation missions a made days ago I made the screenshots today to show a buddy

@Avalla'ch. They are in-game effects. Its easy, just lower the camera facing the sun and the sky turns white and looks nice. Also its fog, Im running and 8800 GTS 512 MB and it causes weird fog but I normally disable fog but it looks nice in some pictures, and my computer has a small yellowish tint to it that makes the game look very nice, almost cinematic! But do you think the effects look good or bad?
P.S. LOL means Laugh out load.... I googled it.

yes, if you take 3 screenshots from a frame you could also make a 'low budged high dynamic rendering' ingame picture from arma with PS cs3.
but I don't know if it would look any better in low resolutions. and also I don't know how to pause the game without a visible menu or hud.

i made one screenshot with hdr but it doesn't look really good, because one of the 3 screenhots was a bit messed up and now the plants look sh*t..
a bit too much bloom.. and the large img looks blurry and crap because i tried to fix the plants.. :-(
it should look like a Mercedes Benz ad. with a subtitle like "Mercedes Benz, your safety via our improvement. The new CLS" :-D

that's obvious, better card = better graphics I guess

i wouldn't say that.. because arma is an 'old' game and the new technologies -shader 4.0 , directx 10 support etc- are not supported by the game.
so a very high setting on a GF 7800 or maybe a GF 8800 should look quite the same like on a system with a overclocked GF GTX 280..

Aww watch the image quality. Its horrible. I think its better to upload ad imagebam.com and post here only thumbnails.

Might I suggest enad1 that you use thumbnails as I do? It might be a little more complicated but hey.

I get my image and make two versions of it one is a thumbnail usually 300x240 pixels the other the whole image.
Use image tags for the smaller image then make a URL with the image tags as the line of text which normally you'd have as click here or something similar.

I second BigFoot, Imagebeam/Imageshack has IMHO good thumbnails.

Would be good if there was a rule for the images' width and height.

I believe there is an unwritten rule of don't break the forum layout with width

The image quality is horrible in the first couple because I over sharpened it and I didn't notice it in PS, then when I posted it I did notice.
About the thumbnails, Something must be f*cked up because whenever I make the screen shot smaller it lose alot of quality and becomes blurry.

Your screens (before editing) had a better quality, maybe because the photoshop (or another graphic program) decompressed the images too much...
